Art for interiors. Made to be lived with.

Lowe Studios is an independent art practice founded by artist and designer Lois Fordham, creating textile artworks and photographic pieces for considered interiors.

The studio grew from a fascination with old photographs and the stories they leave behind. Drawing on vintage imagery, family photographic archives and my own photography, I bring together fragments of different moments through textiles, colour and handwritten text.

With a background in scenic art and design, I’ve always been drawn to the character of spaces and the objects we choose to surround ourselves with. Each piece is thoughtfully composed, with textile works individually sewn and selected pieces finished with hand embroidery.

Lowe is built around the idea that art should feel personal. Not simply something to fill a wall, but something to connect with, return to and live alongside.
